The new HTC Wildfire has today been released in a new red casing, joining the existing and original bronze, brown HTC Wildfire and more recent black edition. It’s available on Three for no up-front cost on plans starting at just £19 per month, or you can go for the “One Plan” at £30 if you’re after truck-loads of data
The Red HTC Wildfire shares all the features of his black and graphite cousins meaning you’ll still enjoy access to thousands of apps on the Android Market as well as HSDPA, WiFi a 5MP camera and GPS powered by Google Maps. The phone feature gives you a widget called Friend Stream that displays all your contacts’ social networking updates in one place
The HTC Wildfire Red is essentially a mini HTC Desire Android. Just 13mm shorter than the Desire and by using a lower resolution display screen (240×320). It runs on Android 2.1 plus it has the flexibility to download new applications. The optical trackpad plus HTC Sense UI offer a great user experience in addition to the 3.2 inch capacitive touchscreen display screen can be used in landscape or portrait mode. Internal memory space can be expanded up to 32GB by using a microsd card.
